How do I activate the New Zealand SIM card?

To activate, simply insert the New Zealand sim into your phone and dial 777 and press call. When you call 777 you will hear an automated voice message confirming the activation of your sim. Sim will self activate within a few seconds. It is at this point that your 60 days of service will commence.

*To use in an iPad or other data only devices, you must activate as per above first.

New Zealand SIM includes 200 standard minutes and SMS to Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, UK and USA. If you wish to call an international phone number you need to include the country's calling.

For example if you are calling a phone number in Australia, you need to dial +61 prior to the phone number. So if the phone number is 0431 123 456 then you would need to dial +61 431 123 456

If you are wanting to call a country outside of the countries noted above, then you should use you can stay in touch with your family and friends by sending them messages and calling them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc.
