SIM card did not fit

We were not able to use the Sim Cards. They did not fit the IPhone SIM card cradle of the phone. The plastic surround of the Sim card was bigger than existing Telstra. We took them to a phone repair shop. They managed to gently file down the plastic trim to make them fit. We were not able to energise them on the start date then, until the following day. They did not work Overall a bad experience

Make sure that your device is unlocked before you depart for your trip. Please note: Being on a post-paid plan or contract with your local carrier doesn't mean your phone is locked. If you are unsure, please check with your current service provider.
When you insert the sim card in any of the covered countries, you will receive a text to your phone noting the French phone number. Should anyone want to call you on your phone number, they would need to drop the leading 0 and add the France country code +33 in front of the phone number, For example, if the phone number noted in the SMS is 6 60 66 00 01, they would need to dial +33 6 60 66 00 01. (To get the + on a mobile phone, press and hold 0 until it turns into a +)
Yes, you are able to hotspot/tether from your phone to another phone or device.
You simply need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone to use the service. The sim card will be active from the activation date you have provided. It is on this date that your 30 days of service will have commenced.

This sim cannot be recharged. If you are travelling for longer than 30 days, we advise that you purchase additional sim cards based on your duration of travel and place an activation date approximately 30 days apart for each sim and change the sim over at the end of 30 days.

Firstly please check that the number you are dialling is a Standard Landline or Mobile. Premium rate or Business rate numbers are NOT included in the Unlimited Minutes and SMS. You must always use the correct prefixes and international dialing conventions as noted below whenever making a call or sending an SMS to a local number. 00 (Country Code) (Area Code) (Number) or + (Country Code) (Area Code) (Number) If calling a French number, you must use their country code which is 33 for example, in front of the number.  eg: For Landlines: 00 - 33 - Area Code - Land Phone Number Or + 33 - Area Code - Land Phone Number and/or For Mobiles: 00 - 33 - 9 Digit Mobile Number (for calling and sms) If you need to call a rental company or tour provider, it is recommended to check with them before you depart for the correct international dialling conventions and to ensure it is standard local rate number. If you are unsure please contact us before you depart at support@simcorner.com or send us a message via the "Contact Us" page and we can let you the correct prefix.
