The sim card will automatically activate based on the Activation Date that you provide. It is from this date that your 30 days of service will commence. It can take up to 24 hours for your activation date to be registered into the system, hence, we encourage that you complete this form as soon as possible. Should you wish to change the activation date after you have purchased, please contact us at support@simcorner.com at least 3 days prior to the noted activation date. Whilst using the sim card you will need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone.   Going for longer than 30 Days? This sim cannot be recharged, if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, we advise that you purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travel and place the activation date approximately 30 days apart for each sim and swap the sim over at the end of 30 days. For example, if you are travelling for 56 days and are departing on the 1st of September, then you should select 2 for the quantity (qty) and add them to the cart. Then in the cart page enter the activation date for the first sim as 1st September and then press the "+" to enter the activation date for second sim as 30th September. Whilst on your travel, insert the first sim card to get connected and after 30 days all you need to do is swap the sims over to remain connected throughout your trip. Yes, you are able to hotspot/tether from your phone to another phone or device.

The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following; APN Name: internet APN: three.co.uk None of the other mobile data APN fields, need to be changed or adjusted, only the above. Details about APN settings and other important information will be noted on the instruction sheet that will come accompanied with the sim card.

This sim cannot be recharged, if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, we advise that you purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travel. For example, if you are going for 50 days, then look to purchase 2 x 30 day sims to cover your duration. However, please note you will have a different phone number for each sim.

Should you run into any issues with the sim card whilst overseas then we encourage you to email us immediately at support@simcorner.com and let us know the following information; Your order number or the name that the order is under along with the sim card number. Which country you are in currently and whether the sim card connects to any network, if so, which network? Did you receive any SMS after you inserted the sim card? If so, please send us a screenshot of that message. Message us screenshots of any error message you are getting. What phone model you are using? Any other information about the issue, which will assist us in helping you resolve the issue. 

Firstly please check that the number you are dialling is a Standard Landline or Mobile. Premium rate or Business rate numbers are NOT included in the 3000 Minutes and SMS. You must always use the correct prefixes and international dialing conventions as noted below whenever making a call or sending an SMS to a local number. 00 (Country Code) (Area Code) (Number) or + (Country Code) (Area Code) (Number) If calling a Portuguese number, you must use their country code which is 351 for example, in front of the number.  eg: For Landlines: 00 - 351 - Area Code - Land Phone Number Or + 351 - Area Code - Land Phone Number and/or For Mobiles: 00 - 351 - 9 Digit Mobile Number (for calling and sms) If you need to call a rental company or tour provider, it is recommended to check with them before you depart for the correct international dialling conventions and to ensure it is standard local rate number. If you are unsure please contact us before you depart at support@simcorner.com or send us a message via the "Contact Us" page and we can let you the correct prefix.

Yes you are able to call and text your partner if you both purchase a sim card.

However, you MUST contact us whilst you are having the issue, so our team can assist you in resolving your problems. Please do this when you are in WiFi (generally at the airport when you land if not working to begin with) or e-mail us from your accommodations (WiFi) or cafe etc. If you only decide to contact us after you return to let us know the sim didn't work then we can't look to provide a refund as we won't be able to see exactly what the issue was and why it didn't work. As long as your phone is unlocked, this sim card will be compatible to use. If you are unsure if your phone is unlocked, please check with your current service provider.

To find out your phone number simply insert the sim in your phone at any time and you will receive a text message with your phone number which will begin with 07. It's fine to do this prior to the activation date you have submitted to us. The sim card is a UK based sim card, hence it will have a UK phone number. If anyone outside of the UK is to call you on this number they will need to dial the UK country code which is +44 followed by your assigned UK number without the leading zero (i.e. +44 7xxxxxxxxx). You are not charged for incoming calls. For example, if the phone number is 07307452691, they would need to dial +447307452691. (To get the + on a mobile phone, press and hold 0 until it turns into a +)

You will receive a 3-in-1 sim card; which includes all sizes (Standard, Micro and Nano). This sim card will fit in any phone. You simply need to just pop out the sim card size that fits your phone.

You simply need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone to use the service. As mentioned previously, the 30 days of service itself commences as soon as you decide to insert the sim in your phone and turn your phone.

If someone wishes to call you on your UK number they would need to drop the leading 0 and add the UK calling code of +44 regardless of which country you are in. For example, if the phone number noted on the pack is 07307452691, they would need to dial +447307452691. (To get the + on a mobile phone, press and hold 0 until it turns into a +) Please Note: If someone from outside of the UK wishes to call or SMS you directly they would be charged at international rates to a UK number. Some of your family and friends may have international calling as part of their phone plans to UK numbers, but others may not be able to make direct international calls or sms. We recommend that you stay in touch with your family and friends by sending them messages and calling them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc.

If your friends and family have have purchase the same sim card then you will be able to call them directly. However, if your friends and family are using their home phone service, then you will need to connect them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc.

Yes, you will have access to all your apps, messages, contacts and emails whilst using this sim card. Nothing on your phone is deleted or changed and you can continue to use your phone as per normal. The only change with using this sim card is that you will have a new phone number.
