I bought a 6 GB data sim for Vietnam and it worked perfectly with no problems at all. When purchasing I had some questions, and Simcorner responded quickly with good information. This was about which Vietnam phone service (Viettel, the one with the most coverage, which was important to me as I was travelling to remote areas). Also whether I could get a sim for voice calls and texts (no, Simcorner can't provide this, but I got by fine with data using Whatsapp). Some of my travelling companions claimed they could get cheaper sims on arrival at Ho Chi Minh City Airport, and that may well satisfy some people, but travelling is hectic and I preferred to turn up prepared. I'm mentioning this anyway so people can make an informed choice. I spent thousands on a trip, and a $50 sim seemed like a pretty good deal to me. For those who need a physical sim, not an esim, and want to arrive overseas with what you need, I think this is a good option.

This sim card is a Data-ONLY sim hence it doesn't come with a phone number. The sim card does not allow you to make direct calls or send direct SMS. However, you are still able to make calls and send messages via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc.
However, you are also able to add credit to your Viber or Skype account, which will allow you to make local and international phone calls directly to landlines and mobiles.
You will receive a 3-in-1 sim card; which includes all sizes (Standard, Micro and Nano). This sim card will fit in any phone. You simply need to just pop out the sim card size that fits your phone.

The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following;

As this sim card cannot be recharged, if you feel you need more than 20GB of data then please purchase multiple sims accordingly. For example, if you need 18GB of data then please purchase 3 of these sim cards bearing in mind that each time you activate one sim you will have 31 days to use the 20GB of data.
If you are travelling for longer than 31 days, please purchase multiple sims accordingly. For example, if you are travelling for 25 days then purchase 2 of these sims and swap them over at the end of the 31 day period.
