Prepaid Physical SIM Cards for International Travel

Sim card shipped fast and activation was easy (it came with the instructions). What arrived was a UK 3 sim card which worked in Greece (Athens, major cities in Crete, Nafplio, Olympia, Delphi, Kalambaka, and Thessaloniki). It provided stable and plenty of data for map navigation, app calls and texts, as well as information/web search during my 20 day travel, when hotel wifi was not available or weak. I happened to transit in London Heathrow and it worked there too. It's super handy because, after activation (before travel) and installation (on flight), it allowed immediate connections upon arrival. (I didn't try the UK number, though. ) Will order and use it again for future Europe travels.

Purchased a physical esim for New Zealand. Posted out super quick and easy to activate once in New Zealand. Very reliable coverage and connected to One NZ network. Highly recommend SimCorner

Arrived in Rome, put in the sim and perfect coverage for 2 weeks in Italy.

Going to Japan and having access to Goggle Maps and Goggle Translate made getting around possible. We had no technical problems.

Switching to the SIM card from my Oz Aldi card was seemless. Really useful to have a usable phone as soon as u got off the plane. The only downside was not having international calls on the card. I’m getting around this by making overseas calls via WhatsApp whenever there is wifi available. Which is numerous in the UK: on trains, in cafes and at my airbnb

I purchase 2 of these SIMs for our 10 day holiday in Thailand. The SIMs were for the local carrier AIS and advertised with 30GB data as well as 15 Baht prepaid credit for local calls and texts over 15 days. 15 Baht wasn't a lot of calls (approx. 10) but thought it would be useful for the occasional SMS messages from Airlines (check in boarding passes). When the SIM was activated there was no credit (15 Baht) for calls or texts. The 30GB of data worked fine for maps, WhatsApp, Facebook and browsing etc, however there was no credit to use for any calls and texts as advertised. I did call the AIS help number but was advised I would have to add credit to the service if I wanted calls and texts. AIS were very helpful. I didnt bother adding credit and was able to have boarding passes printed at the airport. Not a big deal except this SIM shouldn't be advertised with 15 Baht of call and texts when its not available. Overall (except for this minor hiccup) we were very happy with the AIS SIM as a data only SIM and would uses SimCorner again for our overseas travel SIMs.
