The South America eSIM worked

The South America eSIM worked well for my travels in Chile, Brazil and Peru during the one month I was there. Unfortunately I couldn’t use it in Argentina because it wasn’t included as an available country for this eSIM. However, I was only there for a few days and I got by with WiFi in many locations so it didn’t matter. It wasn’t worth me purchasing the more expensive Global eSIM that does include Argentina.

Yes, you will have access to all your apps, messages, contacts and emails whilst using this sim. Nothing on your phone is deleted or changed and you can continue to use your phone as per normal. The only change with using this sim is that you will have a new phone number. 

Order your travel eSIM online and let us know your travel date. A day before our chose Activation date, you will receive an email with the QR Code and instruction steps. The instruction steps will provide detailed step by step instructions with screenshots on how to install your prepaid travel eSIM. When you land at your travel destination, follow the steps noted in the email and your eSIM will be ready to use.

Your phone number is noted In the email with the instructions. It will begin with 07 or +44 7.

The eSIM card is a UK based eSIM, hence it will have a UK phone number.

If anyone outside of the UK is to call you on this number they will need to dial the UK country code which is +44 followed by your assigned UK number without the leading zero (i.e. +44 7xxxxxxxxx). You are not charged for incoming calls.

Once the eSIM is loaded, you simply need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone to use the service.

The features on the sim are valid for 30 days from activation.

This sim cannot be recharged. If you are travelling for longer than 30 days, please purchase multiple eSIMs accordingly. For example, if you are travelling for 45 days then purchase 2 of these sims and swap them over at the end of the 30 day

Should you run into any issues with the sim whilst overseas then we encourage you to email us immediately at support@simcorner.com and let us know the following information;

Your order number or the name that the order is under along with the SIM number and phone number. Which country you are in currently and whether the sim connects to any network, if so, which network? Did you receive any SMS after you inserted the sim? If so, please send us a screenshot of that message. Message us screenshots of any error message you are getting. What phone model you are using? Any other information about the issue, which will assist us in helping you resolve the issue.

If someone wishes to call you on your UK number they would need to drop the leading 0 and add the UK calling code of +44 regardless of which country you are in.

Please Note: If someone from outside of the UK wishes to call or SMS you directly they would be charged at international rates to a UK number. Some of your family and friends may have international calling as part of their phone plans to UK numbers, but others may not be able to make direct international calls or sms.

If you are travelling to different countries that are noted on the "Countries Coverage" section, then all you need to do is restart your phone as you move from one country to another. The sim will automatically connect to a local carrier.
