There were no drop outs

There were no drop outs Once sorted out (data roaming on) the connection was quick. Data download was not as fast as I have previously experienced (with the 4G D-Link mobile WiFi router) but that may reflect back on the countries we visited

Make sure that your device is unlocked before you depart for your trip. Please note: Being on a post-paid plan or contract with your local carrier doesn't mean your phone is locked. If you are unsure, please check with your current service provider.
This Europe Data SIM is a Data-ONLY sim hence it doesn't come with a phone number. The sim does not allow you to make direct calls or send direct SMS. However, you are still able to make calls and send messages via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc. However, you are also able to add credit to your Viber or Skype account, which will allow you to make local and international phone calls directly to landlines and mobiles.
You simply need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone to use the service. The travel SIM will be active from the activation date you have provided. It is on this date that your 28 days of service will have commenced.
The sim connects to different networks in different countries.
This SIM cannot be recharged, if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, we advise that you purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travel and place the activation date approximately 28 days apart for each sim and swap the sim over at the end of 28 days. For example, if you are travelling for 56 days and are departing on the 1st of September, then you should select 2 for the quantity (qty) and add them to the cart. Then in the cart page enter the activation date for the first sim as 1st September and then press the "+" to enter the activation date for second sim as 28th September. Whilst on your travel, insert the first sim card to get connected and after 28 days all you need to do is swap the sims over to remain connected throughout your trip. (Please note: each sim card will have a different phone number).
Should you run into any issues with the sim whilst overseas then we encourage you to email us immediately at support@simcorner.com and let us know the following information; Your order number or the name that the order is under along with the sim card number and phone number. Which country you are in currently and whether the sim connects to any network, if so, which network? Did you receive any SMS after you inserted the sim? If so, please send us a screenshot of that message. Message us screenshots of any error message you are getting. What phone model you are using? Any other information about the issue, which will assist us in helping you resolve the issue. 
Yes, if you purchase 2 sim cards then you will be able to contact each other via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype etc.
