With Game of Thrones being the most watched show on the planet, Croatia has become one of the main hot spots for fans to relive the episodes for themselves. Season Two through to Five have showcased some of the most beautiful landscapes of the cities of Dubrovnik, and Split. Also known as Kings Landing, and the Red Keep. So to get you through the long wait till Season Eight - check out these Game of Thrones locations you won’t want to miss during your visit to Croatia.

1. Kings Landing
Number one on the list is of course, Kings Landing, the capital of the the seven kingdoms. The Croatian city of Dubrovnik is the home of Kings Landing, where some of the most popular scenes of the show were filmed. You’ll even get a view of Blackwater Bay, otherwise known as the Dalmatian coast. You can either set off on your own, or book a guided tour around the walled city of Dubrovnik to get the full GOT experience.

2. The Jesuit Staircase
Who could forget the iconic “Walk of Shame” scene in Season Five, where Cersei was forced to walk naked through the streets of King’s Landing? Cersei’s walk began at the top of the Jesuit Staircase. Relive the walk yourself by starting at the top of the stairs and walking through Uz Jezuite Street - although you may miss the ringing bells and screams of “shame!”.

3. Diocletian’s Palace
Diocletian’s Palace is home to the throne room of Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals, Khaleesi of the Great Grass sea (Okay, you get the point). You won’t want to miss seeing where the Mother of Dragons trained and raised her beasts.

4. Klis Fortress
The Klis Fortress offers fans a look inside the city of Meereen, the former kingdom of slaves which Daenerys conquers to out throw slavery. The fortress overlooks stunning views of the city, and is surrounded by ancient walls that make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.

5. Trsteno Arboretum
The stunning gardens of Trsteno Arboretum are where all the palace garden scenes from King’s Landing take place. You’ll remember Lady Olenna, Sansa and Marjorie strolling through these gardens. The Trsteno settlement is the oldest arboretum in this part of Europe, and is located 24km north-west of Dubrovnik, easily accessible by a 20 minute local bus ride.

6. Minceta Tower
The Minceta Tower is the highest point of Dubrovnik, with an unforgettable view of the town. The spot doubles as the walls of the House of the Undying, where Daenerys walks around the exterior wall trying to find the entrance.
