This sim card is data only and does not allow you to make direct calls and texts. However, you are still able to make calls and send messages via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype etc.

You are also able to add credit to your Viber or Skype account, which will allow you to make local and international phone calls directly to landlines and mobiles.

If you are going to China, please make sure your phone/device supports the 4G network provided by China Mobile. Your phone/device needs to have at least one of the following bands; TD-LTE Band 39 (1900mhz) 40 (2300mhz) and 41(2500mhz).

Compatible phones included iPhone 5s and later iPhone models. Compatible iPads include iPad air, iPad mini and their later models.

The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following;

Name: 3

APN: mobile.lte.three.com.hk

Authentication type: CHAP or PAP

Details about APN settings and other important information will be noted on the instruction sheet that will come accompanied with the sim card.

This sim connects to different local carriers in the different countries

The features on the sim card are valid for 30 days of service from activation. 

If you are travelling for longer than 30 days, please purchase multiple sims accordingly. For example, if you are travelling for 45 days then purchase 2 of these sims and swap them over at the end of the 30 day period.
